The perfect lodge

The comfort of a cosy lodge and excellent cuisine.

Our accommodation is located
in ‘Scandinavian Venice’.
We have opted for warm and spacious
and spacious accommodation in the magnificent
fishing harbour of Henningsvær. One of the one of the most beautiful fishing villages of the whole archipelago.

 

This lodge was an old fisherman’s
house from 1870 and has been completely renovated in 2016.
Old parts of the house have been preserved and all the comfort has been added.

The colour of the exterior of the lodge is the original, a very characteristic light green the interior is a modern and minimalist Scandinavian style.

You choose the duration of your trip: 5, 6 or 7 nights.   In the centre of Henningsvaer, right on the sea. With direct access to the sea and only a few metres from supermarkets and public services.  It offers all the facilities you need for your stay: a relaxing lounge, comfortable rooms, sauna and, of course, a self-catering dining room supervised by our chef, who is eager to help you discover the local gastronomy..   Gastronomic dinners by Joseba Cruz.

The opportunity to see the preparation and preparation of the dishes in the presence of the chef
Joseba Cruz was awarded the Premi al Cuiner Sostenible 2021 (Sustainable Chef Award 2021). His career includes experiences in prestigious kitchens with three Michelin stars, such as Can Fabes, and at the Motel de l’Empordà in Figueres. However, his passion for self-sufficient cooking was born in the summers of his childhood, when he watched his French cousin Olivier fishing in the river and transforming his catch into delicious dishes. His story and his gastronomic approach are reflected in the documentary Joseba Cruz, by Aleix Vilardebo, which shows how he uses the forest as a natural larder, taking advantage of its aromatic plants.
